# Brand Insights

> Compare the brand perception you want to create with the evidence AI search actually finds about you and your competitors.

## What Brand Insights does

Brand Insights helps you compare two things:

* the positioning your brand communicates itself
* the perception AI search actually finds in quotes, sources, and model answers

This makes it easier to see where your intended positioning is already visible, where it is only partly visible, and where competitors still own the stronger narrative.

## What you get

A Brand Insights analysis combines several views in one place:

* **Brand self-image** extracted from your website or existing crawl data
* **AI perception** based on what AI models actually say about you
* **Competitor landscape** for the attributes that matter most
* **Brand gaps** where competitors are stronger or your positioning is still unclear
* **Sentiment patterns** that show how your brand is talked about across recurring wording and themes

## How it works

    Run the analysis for a domain or person from the dashboard.

  <Step title="Choose the website data source">
    For domains, MakeMeRank can either reuse the latest website data from your most recent Full Report or start a fresh crawl.

  <Step title="Optionally add competitors">
    You can add up to five competitors manually. If you already have a Full Report, MakeMeRank can also suggest competitor candidates from that context.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Compare self-image with AI perception">
    MakeMeRank extracts brand attributes, then checks how clearly those attributes appear in AI search results and model answers.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review gaps and tone">
    The final view highlights positioning gaps, competitor pressure, and recurring positive, mixed, or critical phrasing.
  </Step>

## Which models are used

Brand Insights runs across four AI systems before consolidating the result:

* **Claude**
* **Gemini**
* **Perplexity**
* **ChatGPT**

## Why it is useful

Brand Insights is especially useful when you want to answer questions like:

* Are AI systems repeating the brand attributes I want to be known for?
* Which competitors are more strongly associated with the same positioning?
* Where is my positioning visible, mixed, or missing?
* What wording keeps showing up when AI talks about my brand?

## Plan availability

Brand Insights is available in paid plans:

* **Pro** includes **4 Brand Insights runs per billing period**
* **Agency** includes **100 Brand Insights runs per billing period**

Limits reset when your subscription period renews (monthly or yearly, depending on your Stripe plan). The in-app subscription area shows usage and the next reset date.
