# Quickstart

> Run your first Quickscan in a few steps and move into the right next action.

## Your fast start

The Quickscan is free and works without sign-up. It gives you a snapshot of how well AI models currently recognize your domain or profile.

  <Step title="Enter a domain or person">
    Enter your domain such as `makemerank.ai` or, for person scans, always use **name + topic**, for example `Jane Doe, SEO consultant in Berlin`.

  <Step title="Start the Quickscan">
    Start the scan. MakeMeRank queries ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity in parallel.

  <Step title="Read the snapshot">
    You see which models find you, how clearly you are classified, and which early website or profile signals are visible.

## What usually comes next

* **Open the Full Report** for root causes, weighting, and prioritized actions
* **Create an account** to save reports and generate content. You can sign in with email, Google, or LinkedIn.
* **Use Brand Insights** if you want to compare your intended positioning with how AI search currently describes you and competitors
* **Try Query Fan Out** after a Full Report to see internal follow-up queries behind a user question ([guide](/guides/query-fan-out))
* **Invite your team** if several people should share one account and the same limits ([Teams](/guides/teams))
* **Set up Personas and Content Sources** for more personalized topic suggestions and drafts
* **Compare plans** in [Plans & Limits](/guides/plans)
