The Four Scores at a Glance
MakeMeRank delivers four core metrics. Together they form the Overall Score (0–100).Recognition
Question: Does AI find you right away? Do models mention you when explicitly searching for your name or brand?- High: You are mentioned in relevant context – with correct assignment to topic and role.
- Low: Models barely know you or wrongly associate you with topics or people.
A high recognition score is the foundation. If models don’t even mention you in brand searches, the biggest gap is here.
Visibility (Presence)
Question: Does AI recommend you further? Do models mention you even for general queries without your name being mentioned?- High: You appear in recommendation lists, expert queries, and thematic answers.
- Low: You are only found when directly searching for you.
Positioning (Clarity)
Question: Does AI understand what you offer? How clear and structured is your content for AI models to read?- High: Your website is technically and content-wise easy to capture – structured data, clear answer blocks, llms.txt, etc.
- Low: AI overlooks core content, structure is unclear, or key info is hidden (tabs, accordions).
Consistency (Risk)
Question: Do AI facts about you agree? Are the statements consistent across different models?- High: Your expertise, offerings, and positioning are described consistently.
- Low: Different or contradictory representations – e.g. various industries or roles.
Contradictory info can confuse users. A Full Report helps you identify and fix such discrepancies.
Scale 0–100
- 0–40: Strong need for action – most models barely know or recommend you.
- 41–70: Medium visibility – there are strengths, but also clear gaps.
- 71–100: Good to very good AI visibility – you are perceived as a relevant source.
